J’ai commencé à m’intéresser au monde de la radio après de fortes intempéries dans ma région (sud-est de la France).
Je me suis dit que pour communiquer en cas d’urgence, s’il n’y avait plus de téléphone, ni d’électricité, il ne resterait que la possibilité de communiquer par radio.
J’ai alors acheté en ligne un Baofeng UV-5R à moins de 30€ puis j’ai cherché à comprendre comment m’en servir.
Et là, il y avait par moment et sur certaines fréquences des personnes qui parlaient, mais je savais que je n’avais pas le droit de transmettre.
Par la suite, je me suis procuré une clef RTL-SDR pour trouver plus facilement des communications, mais je ne comprenais pas grand-chose.

I became interested in the world of radio after some bad weather hit my region (south-east France).
I thought that if there were no phone or electricity, the only way to communicate in an emergency would be by radio.
So I went online and bought a Baofeng UV-5R for under 30€, then tried to figure out how to use it.
And then, at certain times and on certain frequencies, there were people talking, but I knew I wasn’t allowed to transmit.
Later, I bought an RTL-SDR key to find communications more easily, but I didn’t understand much.
